IMMEDIATE ACTION: Stop the SAVE Act

Today is not a day to be quiet.

The House passed the SAVE Act yesterday, which means it moves on to the Senate. (SAVE Act explainer.) Every Republican and four (FOUR!) Democrats voted to pass the bill in the House. Every Democrat and SEVEN Republicans are needed to vote NO in the Senate. We must contact our Senators every day until this bill is up for a vote. Even Democrats… we can no longer assume they will vote in our best interest.

Reach out to both of your Senators every day until this bill is up for a vote. Email is better than nothing, but phone calls are the most effective. So, get dialing!

The right to vote is a sacred part of being an American citizen. Every year, more barriers are put up, making it hard and less accessible to many eligible voters. It’s up to us to fight for ourselves. We cannot rely on our representatives to do so.
